BITARKANIKA:- Living Home Of White Crocodile
BhitarKanika
located in India, state of Odisha belonging Kendrapara district. It spreads
over 672 km2 (259 sq mi) and is surrounded by the
Bhitarkanika Wildlife Sanctuary. It is one of the famous Marine Park in India. BhitarKanika is second largest national park in India. It is the natural home of salt water Crocodile and other
marine.we can see flora and fauna. It is also famous for biodiversity of mangroves like Sundari, Thespia, Casuarians.
BhitarKanika is also a prime habitat of white crocodile, which is rare in
nature. It is one of the best place for their reproduction.
White crocodile name as Gori is famous at that site. Besides crocodile we can see deer, fishing cat, wild boar, spotted dear,
water monitor lizard, different types of crabs, kingfisher, wood peaker and other different types of birds.
Khola & Gupti are two main entry points to the park. Prior permission is needed to from the forest check gate to enter the national park via water ways.
This journey is a wonderful journey in our life. Nobody can’t express their feelings at that site in words. Really it is so amazing.
When we go start our journey via waterways we can see different types of
crabs and fishes near the bank of
river. When we go away from bank of the river the nature of sight is beautiful. We can see we are going in Narrow River which is covered by flora, fauna and mangroves in two
sides. We can see deer, crocodile,
spotted dear, wild boar, fishing cat wondering and playing at different
places.
We can't believe our self at that sight. So many different types of
birds are flying over our heads & we can listen different sound of
different birds. We can also see most of crocodile
sleep there & some are creeping there. How this wonderful moment is!

We can see different types of crocodile skeleton & eggs. Different types of snakes, reptiles, fish & many more.
There are room facilities also available for guest. They can enjoy staying there at night. They can observe movement of wild animal&reptiles at night time.
These wonderful moments can’t explain in words.
Habits
for wild life are continuously shrinking. We can at least provide a way
station.
