Sanaghagara - waterfall in Odisha


Sanaghagara is a beautiful & enchanting waterfall in Keonjhar district of Odisha state in India. This is not only an enchanting waterfall but also a famous picnic spot among all. The san Machakandana River has gently passed down the hills and creating natural fall.

This waterfall is approximately 100ft high & surrounded by hills & forest. This area is widely spared with forest & hills region. It creates amazing sound while falling & flowing inside rocks. A pool is formed. The calm, peaceful, deep forest surrounding the waterfall adds more beautiful to the waterfall.
Beside waterfall a large beautiful garden raise more beauty of the natural spot. Garden is full of different types of attractive colorful plant, flowers, sculptures of animals like tiger, deer, monkey etc. Kids playing zone like several swing & other game also available. Another excitement game everybody can enjoy i.e; boating. At that time of boating you enjoy the nature of beauty at that sight it’s so amazing. Tribal museum is there, we can learn rich tribal culture, their livelihood style.

Gundichaghagi - waterfall in Odisha


This Keonjhar district is famous for several waterfalls. We can also see another beautiful waterfall name as Gundichaghagi Water fall and Badaghagara Waterfall on the way of our Journey. Bhimkund Waterfall also present in this city. These are also beautiful waterfall in this city. It is most interesting adventure journey when we go start our journey by bus or own vehicle. We have to through ’ghati’ (ravine). When our journey on ravine we can see Entire City. At that time the feeling of natural sight is awesome. It can’t express in words. Throughout our journey we can enjoy beauty of the nature.

Bhimkund - waterfall in Odisha

Bhim Kund Waterfall:-  Bhimkund is another natural enchanting waterfall on the River Baitarani. It is located exactly on the boundary line between the district Keonjhar & Mayurbhanj. The water of this waterfall is fully transparent & looks blue in color. According to mythology Bhim the second Pandav had taken bath in this waterfall & hence it was named after him. This waterfall considers being very sacred. And also thousands of people gather here, to take the holy dip.
