"SHOULD WE GIVE MODI'S GOVERNMENT A SECOND CHANCE?"

Someone's Opinion

It was in May 2014 when the Modi Government came in to power decentralizing the absolute power and despotism of UPA Government and restoring the faith of every Indian on democracy and good governance. The prime minister has ignited the hope for growth, development and progress with his right set of ideas, extraordinary leadership skills and the ability to lead the country. Now we have witnessed around four and half years of the Modi Government there has been a lot of pros and cons to discuss and contemplate that automatically give us a reason whether or not to choose him for the coming election.

PROS:
First of all Modi  as a leader possess a dynamic personality and great decisive power along with his extraordinary oratory skills and straight forwardness that is the sign of a good leader. He is very sincere and hardworking with a vision of transformation and sustainable development by bringing in honesty in a corrupted ecosystem misruled and nurtured by successive regimes since independence.
There have been several initiatives taken by the BJP govt. in terms of economy, healthcare, agriculture and many more.

1.  FINANCIALINCLUSION: The pradhanmantrij and dhanyojna was implemented in 28 august 2014 with an objective of ensuring financial inclusion with every person's access to various financial services namely banking, credit, remittance, insurance and pension in an affordable manner.

2. DIGITAL INDIA is one of the major initiatives taken by the modi govt to make the country digitally empowered by availing  the govt services electronically through improved online infrastructure and increasing the internet connectivity by the 4g technology.

3. MAKE IN INDIA: with the objective of making the country a manufacturing hub for domestic and foreign companies this campaign rolled out a red carpet to the industrialists and the investors making India a global destination for FDI which leads to increase the GDP and job opportunity as well boosting the economic growth.

4. Apart from this the AYUSHMAN BHARAT is a pioneering health care initiative to provide quality medical assistance to the poor and vulnurablefamilies. BETI BACHA BETI PADHAO YOJNA and the SUKANYA SAMRIDHI YOJNA were implemented for women education and women empowerment. Various schemes were implemented for the farmers for agriculture irrigation and doubling the farmer’s income.

5. CLEAN INDIA for cleanliness and sanitation, MISSION INDRADHANUSH for vaccination, HRIDAY and AMRIT SCHEMES for rural and urban transformation along with SANKALP and STRIVE for skill enhancement all these steps have been taken by the modi govt.

6.  Demonetization and introducing GST are two major steps taken to recover the black money and avoiding the cascading of the tax payment system.

7.  Demonetisation, surgicalstrike, GST, electrifying all villages and the other beneficial schemes has helped the common man to a large extent. India is making significant growth but it will take time to outcome all results,

CONS:

1. Controlling inflation is one major thing yet to achieve for the government; increase in oil prices is a big problem for the common man.
2. The suspicion under which the demonetization scheme was implemented is still doubtful.
3. Despite so many initiatives the BJP govt has failed to generate employment for the unemployed youth. Modi govt has so much to to in this context.
4. Delay in implementing the laws and timing in executing the rules
5. Corruption is one of the major issues that the govt has failed to control.
6. Lack of economic planning has affected adversely t both the agricultural and commercial sectors leading to a high level of discontentment in both.
7. It is mostly controlled by the hindutwa brigades for which many times questions have been risen regarding the extremism from the bjp leaders

So basing on all the pros and cons at the outset Modi's leadership as the prime minister of a politically and economically distraught India was hailed best of its kind in the world's view. He has lived up to the expectations of people promoting good governance and administration. The things he has done and milestones he has achieved is almost impossible in a term of five years. The nation has achieved a remarkable progress on various fronts. His ideas of transforming the country will take some more time for implementation and rightfully deserves a second chance. So as responsible citizens this is our duty to choose the right person to rule the large democracy as well as to represent the country in the world platform.
